Plaisir d'Amour set to scenes from the English garden at the domain of Rambouillet. I did this video in honour of Nana Mouskouri, and the poet, Jean de Florian of 18th century France, who wrote the lyrics. He was a close friend of the Duke of Penthièvre, who was one of Louis XIV's grandsons. The Duke owned the Château of Rambouillet at the time and had the English Garden made. The song may well have been inspired by these meadows and streams during one of de Florian's visits!
