Nana Mouskouri - Christos gennatai

Christos gennatai (The Christ is born) is a Greek Christmas carol, whose origins can be found in Christian Rome and/or in Christian Byzantium.
In the morning of December 25th, children in small groups of twos and threes, tour their neighborhood, singing this carol at every apartment and house, in return of which patrons give them small amounts of money. Such singing of the carol is considered good luck.
