ナナさんの韓国公演がファンクラブのニュースで発表されました♪
まだ、公式サイトで確認できてないので、予断は許せませんが、韓国でのナナさんの人気については、これまでも何度かこのブログでとりあげてまいりましたが、ネット上の記事の数から見て、まさにアクティヴな人気を保っておられます。
日本では残念ながら、1974年の来日公演と、実現しなかったアテネオリンピック招致のために、政治家として来日してプライベートに小さな公演を行った」二回しか、どうも来日公演の記録が見つかりません。
まだ、公式サイトで確認できてないので、予断は許せませんが、韓国でのナナさんの人気については、これまでも何度かこのブログでとりあげてまいりましたが、ネット上の記事の数から見て、まさにアクティヴな人気を保っておられます。

韓国では、何度も訪韓し、ツァーとして、各地で公演し、テレビでも放映されているようです。
また、ソウルオリンピックの開会式の独唱や、近年のドラマ｢天よ｣の主題歌の録音のための訪韓、その主題歌 "Lascia chio pianga"はCDに収録されているようです。
韓国で人気の曲は、次のブログ検索からもあきらかですが、Even Now,トライトゥリメンバー、愛の歓びなど大変美しいメロディが特徴的です。

日本でも是非公演をしていただきたいですが、日本のマスコミの対応、こちらのブログへのアクセスをみても、たとえば、国際フォーラムが満員になることは、夢でしょう。
70年代のファンは高齢化して、会場へでかけるにも介助がなければでかけられない方も多いことでしょう。
日本のファンは韓国公演にでかけるしかないのでしょうか、、、、、

Nana Mouskouri to Hold Charity Concert for Oil-spill Area
World-renowned singer Nana Mouskouri, who will perform in Korea in January, will hold a charity concert to help cope with the worst oil spill in Taean County, South Chungcheong Province.
Sori Entertainment, which is organizing the singer's concert, said Mouskouri has decided to give an additional concert apart from her concerts scheduled for January after she heard the news about the deadly oil spill in Korea and its repercussions on the ecosystem.
The firm said the exact date of the charity concert will be discussed with the singer later.
The company also added that the singer will hold the charity concert free of charge and will establish a fund to help restore Taean's ecosystem. The singer will personally visit Taean to give the donations to environmental groups. She will also donate part of the proceeds from her concerts in Busan and other cities to Taean's disaster relief efforts.
Mouskouri will perform at the Central City in Seoul on Jan. 20 and will tour Seongnam, Daegu, Changwon and Busan.

Mouskouri to Hold Charity Concert for Taean Victims

Renowned Greek singer Nana Mouskouri, 73, due to tour Korea next January, announced plans to aid oil spill relief efforts in Taean, South Chungcheong Province through a charity concert.
The benefit concert will be held for free (limited to invited guests), and Mouskouri will visit Taean to hand deliver the donation to an environmental group, said concert organizer Sori Entertainment. Part of the profits from her scheduled tour will also go to charity.
The date and venue of this additional concert is yet to be announced.
The tour will begin Jan. 20 at Seoul Central City Millennium Hall and continue on to Seongnam (Jan.20), Daegu (Jan. 24), Changwon (Jan. 25) and Busan (Jan. 26).
The singer was initially scheduled to visit in July as part of her Farewell World Tour, but had to postpone for health reasons. Following visits in 1988 and 2005, it will be her third time here.
Mouskouri is much loved for timeless songs like ``Try to Remember,'' ``Over and Over'' and ``Plaisir d'Amour.'' Also a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, she has been a strong voice for children's welfare.

Naël d’enfance
Chers amis, voici ma grande honte-joie des derniers jours. Voyez-vous j’ai été élevé (un p’tit bout de temps) par un papa totalement fan de Nana Mouskouri. Toujours est-il que mon enfance n’a pas échappé à cette chanteuse qui a joué et rejoué… Dans certains domiciles c’était Mireille Matthieu, chez nous c’était Nana. D’où la honte. Bien qu’à l’époque je n’apréciasse pas le chant de la dame, nous avions son disque intutulé « Pour les enfants » album contenant des perles comme « Le tournesol », « Un n’haricot dans l’oreille », « L’enfant au tambour » et « Une chanson douce » d’Henri Salvador. Le tout assorti d’une pochette horrible.
Toujours est-il qu’il y avait sur cet album une autre chanson de Noël intitulé « Petit Graçon », une traduction française de « Old Toy Train ». Il y a quelques années de cela, j’avais parlé de cet album à ma tante Françine, qui me l’avait trouvé dans un magasin de disques de seconde main et me l’avait fait transféré sur CD par son copain de l’époque. Bien sûr, l’album est à peu près introuvable en format CD aujourd’hui. C’est LA chanson qui me rend mélancolique à chaque Noël et pour ça, je l’adore. D’où la joie! De plus elle est maintenant liée au souvenir de cette tante aujourd’hui en allée.

Barroso rules out quick decision on online music market

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - José Manuel Barroso, the president of the European Commission, has said that the commission will not make a far-reaching decision on the future of the online music market in the short term, adding that more time is needed to find an appropriate solution.

Greek singer and former MEP Nana Mouskouri summarised the views of artists at the conference by saying: "We must - I believe - think of creators first, and businessmen second, not the other way around."
"Music is not a mere commercial good to be treated in pure terms of competition rules. The recommendation adopts a clear market-oriented approach of music and author's rights which ignores their cultural dimension and will definitely set apart what is considered as the non-commercial music repertoire, practically the local repertoire," she added.
"But exactly this local creativity contributes to Europe's musical diversity which is what makes Europe unique," she explained.
Consequently, artists - supported by a majority of MEPs – are calling on the commission to regulate the online music market and ensure that CRMs provide consumers with a diversified range of music products

Books on popular music rarely contain any musical insight. Nana Mouskouri's Memoirs (Weidenfeld, £18.99) are a case in point – an omission all the more disappointing given her eight years at the Athens Conservatoire. She writes movingly of an impoverished wartime childhood, but you're left longing to know more of the musical (and political) milieu in which she has moved. Nor would you guess from reading Eric Clapton: The Autobiography (Century, £20) how pivotal a role the guitarist has played in the history of rock. Clapton, too, is stronger on the early years – though it's surprising he can remember them. A must-have for those who believe "Clapton is god", this book, like many rock memoirs, becomes a litany of tour dates and recording schedules.
