In the early seventies Vicky's Greek colleague Nana Mouskouri had several personality shows at the BBC in the United Kingdom. In one of these shows, the 1973 one, Vicky and Nana sung a duet together called "Deka Palikaria" which translates as "Ten Brave Men"... I saw this performance óne time in the late seventies, and as far as I know there are no ( official ) video's of this show.
This is an old cassette-tape recording of the duet from Vicky and Nana, it's a bit rusty but still good to listen to, and how beautiful Vicky's and Nana's voices sound together!!! With many thanks to Alan McDonald for sharing this unique recording...
In this TV show Vicky also sang her hitsong "The Love In Your Eyes", which was the English version of the number one single "Ich Hab' Die Liebe Gesehen". I also would like to thank Deacon at the Dutch Vicky Leandros Forum for sharing his old magazine photo of Vicky and Nana...
