Voici un passage récent de Nana à la télévision française. Il s'agissait d'un émission hommage à Charles Trenet, 5 ans après sa disparition. Avec la complicité de Luciano di Napoli au piano et de Marcel Azzola à l'accordéon, elle y chante "Que reste t'il de nos amours" avec beaucoup d'émotions, et retrouve Charles Aznavour pour une courte interview... Nana y évoque rapidement ses débuts en France, la francophonie et sa tournée d'adieux qui devrait se terminer en 2007 par Paris et Athènes.
• Here is a recent appearance on the French television. It was a broadcast honoring Charles Trenet, 5 years after his death. With Luciano di Napoli playing piano and Marcel Azzola accordion, she sings to it "Que reste t'il de nos amours" with many feelings, and find Charles Aznavour for a short interview. Nana quickly talks about her debuts in France, the French-speaking world and her farewell tour which should end in 2007 in Paris and Athens.

I love her song choices, her arrangements, and the sweet, clear, innocent way she sings. I'll never forget the first time i saw her photo on an LP at my hometown library. A beautiful girl with glasses!! (A rarity then in celebrity circles! Coincidentally, it was the same photo that YouTube set as the video icon!)
Here's a favorite song of mine ("There's a Time", aka "Wooden Heart" as sung by Elvis), and some photos from my record collection. (iTunes says I have 1.7 DAYS worth of her music...) God, I am a geek!
