Nana Mouskouri speaks to London Greek News
The world famous Nana Mouskouri is preparing to perform her "Farewell Tour" in the UK and revealed to London Greek News her views on the state of Greek music, her involvement in donating money to the fire victims in Greece, and the reason why it will be the last opportunity to see her perform live.
Nana holds some amazing records with sales in excess of three hundred million of her albums, ranking her at the top of music history with the likes of Elvis, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and other acts.
The London performance at the Royal Albert Hall on 29 October will be a celebration of Nanas repertoire spanning fifty years with performances in Greek, English, French, Spanish and Italian. Tickets can be purchased online via the London Greek News site.
Nana is due to release her memoirs on 1 November (Orion) available at all good bookshops.
